How fast can I equip a rental fleet?
IQ-Plug is Plug and Track™, it plugs into the OBD port in about 15 minutes per vehicle, so units go back on the lot the same day. For a covert option renters can't unplug, IQ-Wired is professionally installed and hidden.
What happens when a vehicle isn't returned?
You see its live position in your dashboard and act while it's still moving: call the renter, or hand police a location instead of a plate number and a wait. That's the difference between a recovery and a write-off.
Can a renter just unplug the tracker?
If a device is disconnected, you're alerted, an unplugged tracker is itself a signal something's wrong. Fleets that want zero access choose IQ-Wired, which is hardwired out of sight during professional installation.
Can you track equipment, not just vehicles?
Yes. Cars, vans and trucks take IQ-Plug in the OBD port, or IQ-Wired hidden out of sight. Towable and powered equipment has no OBD port, so it takes IQ-BAT instead: a battery-powered tracker that runs about five years on one set of batteries. Both report into the same map, so a lift and a rental sedan sit on one screen.
