A claim without video is one person's word against another's. Every IQ-CAM records continuously, flags the event as it happens, and saves the clip before anyone reaches for a phone.

How many IQ-CAM cameras are there, and how do they differ?
Three. IQ-CAM-12 is dual-facing: 1080p on the road, 720p with infrared on the driver, machine vision watching both, and up to four auxiliary cameras. IQ-CAM MC30 is road-facing only, holds about 14 days on a 128 GB card, installs in about 15 minutes, and has one-press SOS. IQ-CAM ME40 runs four channels with ADAS and DMS, 360° coverage, and about four weeks on a 512 GB card. All three report into the same dashboard, on one login and the same month-to-month terms.
Does IQ-CAM record the driver as well as the road?
On the IQ-CAM-12 and the ME40, yes: a road-facing lens captures what's ahead and a cabin lens captures the cab. The MC30 is road-facing only, with a driver-facing camera available as an add-on. Both views matter for exoneration, the road view shows what happened, the cab view shows your driver did nothing wrong.
What events does IQ-CAM detect?
On-device machine vision flags cell-phone use, eating and drinking, smoking, unbelted driving, general distraction, and lens obstruction, with real-time alerts and event clips in your dashboard.
Does IQ-CAM work without cell coverage?
Yes. If connectivity drops, IQ-CAM buffers roughly 4 hours of GPS data and 1 GB of video locally, then uploads when coverage returns. GPS updates every 5 seconds while online.
Will my drivers accept a camera in the cab?
Framing matters. IQ-CAM is the camera that's on your driver's side, its footage protects their record and their CDL when the other party's story is wrong. Coaching workflows recognize good driving, not just exceptions. And if the cab lens is the sticking point, you don't have to start with one. The MC30 is road-facing only, so you can run road video first and add a driver-facing camera later if you decide you want it.
How is footage shared with an insurer?
Driver-caused events upload themselves to your dashboard, so the clip is waiting for you. Open the event, download it, and send it to your adjuster. Incident alerts reach you by text or email as it happens.
How hard is installation?
IQ-CAM installs with a 15-minute quick connect cable: scheduled around your operation so trucks don't sit idle. Add-on cameras (side, rear, dome) are fitted at the same visit.
Is there a contract for IQ-CAM?
No. Like everything AirIQ sells, IQ-CAM is month-to-month with no long-term contract and no early-termination fee.
